![]() My wife showed me a website that the coolant hose pops and Volvo has a recall. She will take it (or tow it) to our local Volvo dealer to have it fixed. My wife’s 2016 XC90 T6 RD has a Engine Coolant Low Level warning with smoke (smells like pretzels) coming out of the engine. The fact that the coolant level by eye outside says 'min' but the sensor inside says 'low coolant-turn off engine', and the level is low in the middle but not the outside is very odd. Engine overheating will be signaled with text and a red warning triangle in the middle of the instrument display.
